For years and years and years, I have been talking about running the Dublin
marathon as a challenge before I reach a certain
age (one with a big
0!)....Well, Dublin
Marathon 2007 was my last chance to do it, and that's exactly what I
did..... But as
I crossed the finishing line of my first marathon, I punched the air
with my right wrist as a sign of satisfaction and victory, I said to myself:
You did it, but why did you not do it ?
This website has been setup for people to see what challenges lay ahead of me, to follow up on fund raising and training progress throughout the year, and more importantly to make donation for my selected charity of the year.
All the money raised from my running during 2008 will be donated to
Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin
Donations can be made in different ways:

by Cash given directly to me (please do not send any cash by post).

by Cheque or Bank Draft issued by an Irish bank (please drop me an email to get postal address)

by Electronic Transfer - Drop me an email to get account details for transfer.
Note: To prevent online fraud, details will only be passed on to people that I know.
100% of the
donations will be given to the charity and not a cent of that money is
used to cover any of my overheads (official races have
an entry fee
between €20 and €80, transport and accommodation costs if and when
required are cover by myself.)
